Spiritual Formation Groups
Becoming Aware
Group Spiritual Direction is a small group of people meeting together with a Spiritual Director to listen deeply to one another, and to help each other be aware of God’s presence in their lives, and what God is doing in their lives. If you would like to participate, sign up at the Welcome Center, or by clicking on the button below. All we need to know is if you’d like to meet during the day or evening, and in person or online.
Adult Class: “Holy Lands”
Where in the World?
Tony Blair will start a new adult class next Sunday called “Holy Lands”. In this 7-week study, we’ll have some fun looking at the history and geography of selected Bible lands, and the biblical stories that occurred in each place. Sign up here if you want to participate online or simply join us in the Blue Room after the Sunday morning service to participate in person. This Sunday, April 2, will be the last week for this class.
Men’s Group
Wisdom and Support
Recent studies show that men benefit from meaningful relationship with other men in many ways, including building lasting friendships, having a confidential place to talk about life, and offer wisdom, support, and prayer for each other. This loosely-structured group will be facilitated by John Bentley, and will meet for 10 weeks on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 – 8:30 PM. There are still a few spots open!
Women’s Fellowship Group
Being Together
All women of Hosanna!, their friends and neighbors, or members of the community at large are invited to attend. Devotions and prayer will be shared at each meeting. We’ll be meeting on the first Wednesday of each month, starting in February. If you have questions, please contact Maryanne Diemer at (717) 371-4822, or by clicking the info button below.
Hook & Needle
Handy Crafting
If you like to crochet, knit, or sew, this group is for you! If you would like to learn, this group is for you! If you don’t crochet, knit, or sew, bring your own craft to work on, and join us as we talk, work, and laugh together! This group normally meets the last Thursday of every month, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
Family Potluck
Loaves and Fishes
Our New Year’s Day Pot Luck was such a huge success, we’ve decided to schedule more throughout the rest of the year! Mark your calendars for the following dates: May 7, August 6, and November 5!
