Adult Class Teaching Schedule 2020
January 12-March 1: Grief Care (Deb) – If you love someone and you “lose” him or her – you will grieve. The question is, can you grieve openly? Can you talk about the grief? How can you acknowledge loss until you can talk about it? Deb Helt is leading this new class, which will meet in the Pathfinders Room.
February 9: Grief Care has class but there’s no other one meeting
February 16-March 1: Dreams (Jo Ann)
DREAMS: Thoughts of the Heart
A Class Exploring How God Speaks Through Dreams
Three classes, February 16-March 1, 2020 – 11:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m.
Dreams are a universal human experience and speak a universal language to all people. Yet few people take their dreams seriously – or understand how seriously God takes their dreams. The biblical record and early Christians offers ample evidence that dreams are a normal, valid way in which God communicates to humanity.
This class, facilitated by Jo Ann Kunz, will help Christians to reclaim and embrace the God-given gift of dreaming by exploring biblical evidence, along with growth in understanding common purposes, dynamics, language, and meaning. We will also look at ways in which tending our dreams prayerfully can be a life-giving spiritual discipline.
March 8-March 29: Discernment: How To Hear God (Jo Ann and Tony)
April 5-12 No Class
