Care Connections

Community Resources

To be a community of God’s people means that we care for each other deeply, at all times but especially when life interrupts. We support each other through loss and grief, medical challenges, family challenges, financial difficulties, emotional and therapeutic needs, and other experiences when it’s necessary to know that you’re not alone.

We help connect people to resources for care throughout our region, such as professional counselors, spiritual directors, family services, and the like. Contact our Pastor of Congregational Life, Deb Helt, for help in connecting with these external services at deb@hosannalititz.org, or through the church office.

Congregate Care

Elders are members of the congregation who have a passion for ministry to others and are acknowledged for that by the rest of the congregation. They visit people in their homes or in the hospital, check in when someone is going through a hard time, pray with people in our designated prayer room during our worship services, officiate at funerals and weddings, and in any other way provide care that is needed.

Our team of elders are specifically selected to provide care for the Hosanna congregation and its leaders. The work of the elders is coordinated by our Pastor of Care Ministries Rick McKinney. Rick can be reached at rick@hosannalititz.org, or feel free to contact the church office.
